Team Introduction:
The high-performing Global Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) organization is essential to enabling TikTok's advertising business growth. We partner with business leaders in strategy setting, revenue planning, sales & client incentive policy-making, driving operational effectiveness in tooling and sales processes, and ensuring productive and fruitful partnerships cross-functionally across internal teams. We're looking for a Global Data Governance and Analytics Intern who can use advanced data and analytics to realize scalable and predictable revenue growth. As the Global Data Governance and Analytics Intern, you will join our high-performing TikTok Global Business Solutions team, based out of the New York office, and work with the Global Monetization Strategy and Operation teams across the world to tackle one of the most interesting and challenging problems for TikTok.

Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:

Monday, June 23

We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

Online Assessment
Candidates who pass resume evaluation will be invited to participate in TikTok's technical online assessment in HackerRank.

Responsibilities:
- Build the data and tooling foundation for both the Regional and Global monetization strategy team to deliver the standardized and repeatable process, including unlocking the data challenge and institutionalizing the analytics framework
- Program managing insight generation through implementation to drive better monetization strategy and operation efficiency by partnering with the Data Science, Operations and Product teams
- Supply global programs and planning initiatives with advanced data and analytics to achieve revenue enablement, including developing measurement and dashboard to track key business staples and global performance
- Generate automation solutions to the current manual process within the Sales and Operation teams to streamline the operations and enhance the overall efficiency for the business

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong data and analytics capabilities, comfortable with writing complex SQL queries, and proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python or R is highly preferred
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with Python
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to support current team members or lead projects independently
- Can proactively engage with numerous stakeholders
- Ability to drive conversations effectively

- Self-starter attitude: You’re someone who can initiate and drive complex analysis to completion with minimal guidance and then synthesize and communicate insights with the senior stakeholders
- Get-it-done mindset: You’re motivated to work hard and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoys building things from scratch, and constantly pushing the boundaries of the current operations process.
- Excited to interact with teams worldwide, participating in meetings across various time zones.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description Intern (hourly)

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45- $45. We cover 100% premium coverage for Full-Time intern medical insurance after 90 days from the date of hire. Medical coverage only, no dental or vision coverage.​

Our time off and leave plans are: Paid holidays and paid sick leave. The sick leave entitlement is based on the time you join.​
