We are currently recruiting a dedicated full-time postdoctoral researcher to work on a "Leveraging Machine Learning for Materials Discovery" project, focusing on molecular simulations of soft materials (e.g., polymers, liquids) and novel machine learning techniques for property prediction and material design/optimization. The primary objective is to generate data for soft materials from simulations and develop machine learning models based on the data. The postdoc will be directly hired by the Lucy Family Institute’s initiative on AI & Materials. The position is for a one-year term, renewable for one more year, pending performance review. The postdoc will be a residential scholar within the Lucy Family Institute office space as well as an active participant within the Lucy Postdoctoral Scholar Community to enable greater collaboration between the Institute faculty and other postdoctoral scholars who are recruited through this initiative.
