The Goods Lab is looking to hire a talented postdoctoral researcher that interested in developing tools for data harmonization and integration across multiple ‘omics datasets. The goal is to leverage these datasets to develop tools for drug target identification and drug development.
The Goods Lab is located at Dartmouth College in the new Engineering and Computer Science Center in Hanover, NH. We are a diverse lab, comprised of biologists and engineers, with an interest in improving our understanding of reproductive health and immunology.
We are specifically looking for persons with a background in data science, computational biology, bioinformatics, and/or engineering. Knowledge of single-cell analysis tools (such as Seurat and cell-cell interaction tools), data mining techniques, and programming in R and/or Python are required for this position. Familiarity with database development is also advantageous for this position. This work will provide the opportunity to work with a close team of collaborators comprised of biologists, engineers, reproductive health experts, drug development experts, and computational scientists.
Compensation for this position is competitive and above the national average, and we offer financial assistance for relocation. Applicants should have a PhD or plan to finish their PhD in engineering or bioengineering, bioinformatics, data science, computational biology or a related field.
