Senior Finance Data Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who will be responsible for providing high quality, actionable insights, and analytics that will improve the performance of Commercial Insurance.

What you'll do:

• Collecting and analyzing data to provide valuable insights.

• Generate reports and present findings to aid decision-making.

• Working with complex data; managing, cleansing, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.

• Data visualization, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.

• Collaborates with internal and external partners to define and drive business intelligence and analytics, leading to insights which will drive performance improvement.

• Foster an environment of continuous engagement with actuarial, pricing, analytics, underwriting, operations, marketing, communications, claims, IT, finance, and others.

• Acquires clear understanding of business needs and strategy with ability to communicate and complete requirements.

What you'll bring:

• University degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3+ years industrial experience in BI Analytics or Reporting.

• Experience with Python, MS Access, SAS and VBA is an asset.

• Experience in Commercial Insurance is an asset.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at all levels.

• Technical proficiency, analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration.

What you’ll get:

• The salary band for this position ranges from $64,200 to $119,200. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
