The role
As a Data Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be an instrumental part in the production and analysis of data, producing improvement actions, ensuring the business works as efficiently and effectively as possible.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll perform strategic business analysis to understand, predict, enhance procurement and supply chain processes and performance. You will be responsible for assembling data, analysing performance, creating business reporting to  providing actionable insights and to drive improvement actions.

 

  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights
  • Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals as required to support internal and customer requirements
  • Support the output of a risk analysis against the delivery forecast, to be presented to the customer and key internal stakeholders
  • Support the production agreed model tracking Gainshare savings and obtaining monthly signoff with both internal and external parties


This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite at Donnington and 2 days working from home.


Essential experience of the Data Analyst:

  • Good understanding of data analysis principles, tools and techniques, evidenced through extensive practical experience
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience of developing data models, management information and giving presentations
  • Advanced knowledge Microsoft Excel, including its analytical functions
  • An ability to develop and sustain relationships with individuals at all levels in an organisation 


Qualifications for the Data Analyst:

  • A degree, relevant professional qualification (NVQ 4, HND, Graduate Diploma, BTEC, PG Dip) or have relevant business analyst experience in a large, complex organisation


Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
