AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of AI and Analytics Engineer.

 

The AI & Analytics Engineer will have a strong background in data engineering, data architecture, and data pipeline development. The AI & Analytics Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide variety of data sources to support the development of AI and analytics models and insights. In this role, the AI & Analytics Engineer will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity. This role will develop and implement robust data pipelines and workflows to support data science and AI initiatives. This work will involve close collaboration with AI developers and data scientists to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data solutions and visualizations. This role will perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and ensure that the data infrastructure supports the development and deployment of machine learning models. The ability to communicate findings and insights through data visualizations, reports, and presentations will be essential in driving informed decision-making across the organization. Additionally, the AI & Analytics Engineer will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering, big data technologies, and cloud platforms, ensuring that our methodologies and tools remain cutting-edge. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our data throughout its lifecycle and in fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.  

 

Your Impact

  • Work closely with Data Scientist and AI Developer teams to understand the business problems, steps to execute and drive implementation for value creation.
  • Works with business stakeholders to identify relevant data sources for use cases, maps into a data model.
  • Handles complex issues and problems. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Builds systems and infrastructures that collect and process data according to analytics use case needs and goals.
  • Builds, evolves and scales out infrastructure to ingest, process and extract meaning out data.
  • Use enterprise scale ETL tools (e.g. SAP, Databricks, Python, Spark) to integrate, transform and load data from source systems to consuming applications and models in order to extract meaning out of the data.
  • Leverage cloud-based services (e.g. AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing.
  • Productionalizes data pipelines in the cloud using deployment tools (e.g. Cloud Formation, Docker containers, Git for Version Control) for data and analytics use cases at scale.
  • Leverages existing data infrastructure to fulfill all data-related requests, perform necessary data housekeeping, data cleansing, normalization, hashing, and implementation of required data model changes.
  • Analyzes data to spot anomalies, trends and correlate similar data sets.
  • Troubleshoots problems, identifies possible solutions, and resolves accordingly.
  • Evangelize good data handling and management practices.
  • Ensures data integrations adhere to enterprise architecture standards.
  • Stewards data cleanliness and management where appropriate.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a related field with hands-on experience in the development of data pipelines
  • Technical with big data tools such as Hive, Spark, Hadoop etc.
  • Experience in data mining and predictive modeling inclusive of linear and non-linear regression, logistic regression, and time series analysis models.
  • Experience working with large datasets including structured and unstructured data and experience cleaning and manipulating data.
  • Experience with classical and cloud based ETL tools for batch data transformations
  • Strong data visualization and communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge working with relational databases and large datasets, along with the data governance and quality management processes need to improve quality of the analysis.
  • Strong academic qualifications, including advanced understanding/coursework in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
