Summary:

The Associate Director, Data and Operations within Compliance and Ethics at will play a pivotal role in shaping the data strategy and operational excellence of our Enterprise Risk and Compliance & Ethics (C&E) functions. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of data infrastructure, tools, analytics, and reporting, ensuring that our C&E functions are supported by robust, dependable, and insightful data solutions.

This position will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the data infrastructure that underpins our risk analytics and reporting capabilities. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the Corporate Executive Leadership Team (CELT) and Country Market leads, to provide critical risk insights and support routine Board reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to define requirements, assess technical feasibility, and ensure the successful delivery of analytics projects.


Key Responsibilities:
Data Infrastructure and Tools Management:

  • Supervise and administer the comprehensive data infrastructure, tools, analytics, and reporting mechanisms for Enterprise Risk and Compliance & Ethics (C&E) functions.

  • Maintain and optimize various tools and technologies (e.g., Fresco, CMT, C&E Dashboards, Process Unity, Risk Model), ensuring seamless operation and functionality.

  • Assess, conduct thorough due diligence, and prioritize incoming requests for analytics and reporting from Enterprise and C&E stakeholders, ensuring data security and adherence to relevant regulations and standards.

  • Develop and implement best practices for data management and tool utilization, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and assess technical and data feasibility.

  • Conduct detailed analysis to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather comprehensive requirements.

  • Document and communicate requirements clearly to ensure alignment and understanding across all teams.

Risk Analytics and Reporting Development:

  • Create comprehensive risk analytics and reporting tools for the Corporate Executive Leadership Team (CELT) and Country Market leads.

  • Deliver detailed risk analytics to the Risk Assessment team to support the quarterly Packaged C&E Risk Insights.

  • Offer dedicated support to stakeholders for routine Board reporting.

C&E Program Effectiveness Measurement:

  • Provide metrics and analytics to the Risk Assessment team to measure the effectiveness of the C&E program.

Governance:

  • Establish and maintain FMV governance frameworks to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

  • Provide metrics and analytics to the Risk Assessment team to measure the effectiveness of the C&E program.

Data Infrastructure Maintenance:

  • Manage the data lake and integrate relevant enterprise data.

  • Analytics and Solutions Roadmap Development:

  • Develop and manage the analytics and solutions roadmap for Enterprise Risk and C&E.

  • Identify and implement new tools and technologies, additional data requirements, and best practices in collaboration with other BMS functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data management, analytics, and reporting.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing data infrastructure and analytics teams.

  • Experience in compliance and ethics, risk management, or a related field is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced knowledge of AI and deep learning technologies.

  • Experience with data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

  • Experience in developing and implementing best practices for data management and tool utilization.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Experience in developing and managing analytics and solutions roadmaps.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
