Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic summer intern to join our non-clinical biostatistics team. The intern will work with our non-clinical biostatistics scientists, participating in study design and analyzing data using statistical methodologies to provide support to Development and Analytical Validation efforts,  and/or engaging in process surveillance and Statistical Process Control in Commercial programs. There will be ample opportunity to interact cross-functionally with R&D, Development, and Commercial scientists. Facility with Microsoft Office suite and appropriate statistical analysis programs (e.g., R, SAS, JMP, Python) required.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Analyze data using statistical methodologies to provide support to Development, AV, and Commercial programs.
• Facility with Microsoft Office suite and appropriate statistical analysis programs (e.g., R, SAS JMP, Python). Capacity to interact productively in a cross-functional environment.
• Required for all Job descriptions:

Scheduling requirements:

• Ability to work designated schedule.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 100% of a typical working day.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Masters or Ph.D. program in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• Preference giving to candidates with a record of outstanding academic achievement.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and one or several statistics analysis programs (e.g., JMP, SAS, R).
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary Range:

$39,000.00 - $62,000.00

 

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis, and may differ based on the hiring location.
