On behalf of SKF-AI, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Python Developer to build a functional and efficient server-side application called Runway and join the analytical automation development team as part of the Data Science Department.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team of 2
• Build back-end business logic for web application
• Help design and implement functional requirements
• Build efficient back-end features in Python
  
• Integrate front-end components into the application
• Be a Scrum leader for the team
• Prepare technical documentation
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
  
• Code review

Requirements:

• Solid experience as a Python Developer and being open to maintaining and working with other current environments
• Experience with ML - advantage
• Experience of 4+ years working in an operational environment
  
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), namely AWS SageMaker
• Strong English and communication skills (both speech and writing) – continuous collaboration within the team and between the different teams
• Attention to detail
• Strong technical skills in software development
  
• Experience and willingness to work as part of a team on a common code base
• Leadership skills
• Background and knowledge in data science or statistics is a strong advantage
