Context of the position
Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the design and specifications of ASML’s products. The department System Integration is part of D&E and responsible to manage risk during the integration phase of our products. Proto systems are used to verify the design concept at system level, which includes hardware and software.
Role and responsibilities
In this role you are responsible for maintaining and developing data solutions to support the department deliverables (D&E P&I System Integration). The Automation Developer will create applications on various platforms to make raw data available and assemble complex datasets which can be used in tools and reports, with a focus on data reliability, efficiency and quality.
Job Description:
Deliver data solutions (dashboard/reporting/tooling) from creation to maintenance, including translation and implementation of business requirements
Document the design documents for the data solutions (dashboards/reporting/tooling) and also provide training documents enabling department engineers to use these applications.
Assemble large and complex data sets, troubleshoot issues and maintain database architecture
Communicate with stakeholders and write/update relevant documentation
Monitor and audit data quality
Set up and maintain automated data processes
Create and maintain network between DUV & EUV System integration, ASML IT departments to share models and learn from best practices
Enable and Drive Continuous Improvement Process.
Education and experience
Master’s degree in technical field of study or (Data Engineering/Science, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or Information Management)
Experience :
2-5 years of relevant experience within an operationally oriented organization. (E.g. with process modeling, process optimization, operation analytics, business case calculations in an operational environment);
Experience in creating queries (SQL, Excel, Power BI)
Clear understanding how the Business Process works
Strong affinity with data sources, data analytics, reporting systems, and development process
Experience and affinity with analytics and related tooling, such as BI tools (Spotfire, Mendix, Power Platform), SAP HANA, Tableau, Qlik), MS Office (Excel, Access)
Experience with data processing languages: SQL & Python, KNIME, VBA, MongoDB, XML, etc.
Command of SW coding platforms [PERL, C/C++, Java/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python]
Demonstrated competence in data warehousing (design and operations), ETL, and database design
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum concepts and experience working in an Agile environment and lean methodology
Bonus: Solid knowledge of ASML systems and processes
Desired:
Experience with change management within production-organizations.
Experience in Project Management.
Experience in a complex, international environment is a plus.

Other information
This position is within the Means and Methods team, part of the System Integration DUV (P&I) - and reports structurally to the System Integration Group Leader and operationally to the Means and Methods Product Owner.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
