Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Entry-Level Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will support analytics-based decision-making by providing actionable, consistent, and accurate data to our stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and deliver data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Reporting: Assist in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Data Quality: Monitor and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in our systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
  • Support: Provide support in ad-hoc analysis requests from stakeholders to aid decision-making and resolve any dataflow issues as they arrive.
  • Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence, constantly growing your technological toolbox.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for data and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner, is required as this is a people-facing role
  • Basic knowledge of SQL (ideally TSQL or Spark SQL).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Optional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Python is a strong plus.
  • Basic knowledge of database architecture (OLAP vs. OLTP, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Azure environment
