WHAT WE OFFER

The Data Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to apply their analytical skills and technical knowledge to real-world business problems. Working closely with an experienced Operational Excellence Department and cross-functional teams including Process Engineers, Reliability Engineers, and Production Management, the intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and using data to drive insights and decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious student to develop their data analytics abilities in a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data collection, cleaning, and preparation tasks
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
  • Create data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present findings
  • Support the development of reports, presentations, and other data-driven deliverables
  • Collaborate with colleagues from multiple countries.
  • Participate in site meetings and learning opportunities

WHAT YOU OFFER

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong academic performance with coursework in statistics, programming, and databases
  • Background or interest in chemical, manufacturing, or related industries
  • Familiarity with programming languages SQL.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with lean methodologies

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn

This internship provides valuable exposure to the data analysis lifecycle and how to transform data into actionable insights within a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and analytically minded student looking to apply their skills to real-world business challenges.
