About the team

We’re looking for a full time graduate who will assist the Sales Operation Team to produce business information pages in Microsoft Power BI. This includes a great deal of analysis and validation, along with the use of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). The reports you will produce are critical to the strategic decision making at executive level.

You will be part of the Sales Operations Team who support the day to day business transactions within GBG. From sales user experience, process design and improvement, bid support and producing the management information that allows GBG to be a data led organisation.

What you will do

• All work undertaken will be centred around the use of Microsoft Power BI.
• The projects you take on will vary throughout the year, but projects will mainly concentrate on customer-focused data to help aid understanding around forecasts and trends.
• You will support the sales, customer success, and sales management teams with data analysis and validation from a number of sources.
• You will also help develop a performance reporting framework to ensure relevant, accurate, and timely reports to various stakeholders at all levels.
• You will be required to gather requests from senior stakeholders within the business.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Have good IT literacy and confident in using Excel, SQL Server and knowledge of data visualisation tools (preferably Power BI) but not essential as you will receive training on this.
• Have mathematical and statistical ability.
• Understanding of Data and Analytics methods
• Have the ability to use, analyse, interpret and model mathematical information to solve real-world problems.
• Be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Be self-motivated and naturally curious.
• Be willing to learn new tools and programmes.
• Be able to communicate effectively with both non-technical and technical stakeholders
