About this role
If you are looking to shape the digital future of a global conglomerate, then we have a great opportunity for you as part of Global Data, Analytics and AI COE leadership. We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to help establish and drive the delivery at Carrier’s Global functions including finance, engineering, HR, aftermarket, marketing etc. and help guide the business through data transformation initiatives. He or she is accountable to roadmap execution for global functions while partnering with architecture, and business executives to ensure data strategy and roadmap are aligned with business strategy and priorities. The role reports to global analytics leader while matrix reporting to Global functions CIO organization. The analytics leader will lead critical data projects, leading on all aspects of data product management to assist the product owner and development team use data to make business decisions and increase operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable to develop and drive the execution of data and Insights roadmap for the global functions while partnering with global functions CIO/BRMs, operations business, product and architecture teams.
- Be data single point of contact for the business unit for prioritization, strategy, communication, and deployment of insights and analytics.
- Develop and adopt the speedier and agile approach including implementing scrum/sprint methodology.
- Drive, manage and deliver data insights project and products on time, on budget and on value.
- Use data analytics to work with stakeholders/subject matter experts, collect requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to scope and prioritize digital activities for designing excellent digital analytics solutions.
- Ensure that product and architecture teams understand global functions strategic direction and priorities in influencing the global data strategy, roadmap, technology decision, design and deployment of solution. Understand what is working and what needs improvement. Contribute to individual project designs have properly incorporated business directions and priorities.
- Proactively educate business and digital leadership about current capabilities, their limitations and features available data emerging technologies and influence the implementation of data insights.
- Manage, track and optimize total cost of ownership of global functions data landscape
- Manage engagement risk, project economics, planning and budgeting
- Define deliverable content and ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from business and digital leadership.
- Support and lead delivery governance and provide updates to sponsors and Steerco
- Develop and create strong collaboration culture with Stakeholders and team members across the organization
- Be a champion for Actionable Insights Excellence through Continuous enhancements.
- Lead workshops, analyze current and future business processes, document user journeys, and coordinate business testing.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in Data and Analytics implementation.
- 5+ years of experience with data architecture, delivery management and Resource Management Experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in data management or business analysis with an emphasis on data in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Data warehouse and visualization solutions like Snowflake, Power BI or emerging insights, data fabric and AI technologies.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools that support it.
- Experience in designing and deploying complete analytics solution in digital platforms for new product development.
- Demonstrated skills in leading remote teams and achieving results with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe development methods
- Outstanding communication skills, and ability to inspire team members to share a common vision. Effective upward-influencing skills

Travel:
You will be required to travel as is determined by the needs of our businesses. This position may require travel to business sites up to 25% of the time.
