PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to track KPIs and business performance.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of trends and anomalies in data to provide strategic recommendations.

Data Management & Architecture:

  • Assist in designing and implementing data architecture to support analytics and business intelligence requirements.
  • Participate in data migration projects, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data transfer.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure proper data governance and infrastructure.

SQL & Database Management:

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from various sources.
  • Maintain and improve database systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for end-users.

Data Visualization & Presentation:

  • Create meaningful and easy-to-understand data visualizations using Power BI and Excel.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring data is effectively communicated to drive business decisions.

Data Integrity & Quality Control:

  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of datasets.
  • Implement and maintain data validation procedures to enhance the reliability of reporting.

Perform other work related tasks as assigned.

Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with data architecture, management, and migration projects.
  • Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI and Excel for data visualization and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive analytics is a plus.
