Duties & Responsibilities
- Participating in research activities intended to improve the performance and broaden the application offerings of UIH MRI scanners.
- Cultivating emerging MRI techniques and driving its development to achieve clinical and business impact.
- Leading research projects independently or in collaboration with internal teams and academic and clinical partners.
- Developing novel MRI pulse sequences and/or image reconstruction and processing algorithms.
- Maintaining UIH’s competitiveness by publishing and filing invention disclosure.
Requirements
Education
- MS with > 2 years of experience, or PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
- MRI research experience with a proven track record of scientific publications.
- Experience in major programming languages such as C++/C, MATLAB and/or Python.
- Background in medical imaging, artificial intelligence and/or clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in MRI reconstruction and machine learning is preferred.
Required Skills or/ Attributes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to grow.
- Desire to learn, ask questions, and be resourceful in identifying innovative applications and creative solutions to complex problems.
- Willing and able to travel up to 25%, including short-term international trips.
