We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team, working on exciting projects that enhance fan experiences, optimize ticket sales, and drive business strategies between the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and third party events. Responsibilities:
- Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models to address business challenges such as predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and optimization problems.
- Data Pipeline Management: Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines that support model training and production deployment.
- Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence to apply innovative solutions to real-world problems.
- Model Evaluation & Optimization: Perform regular evaluation, fine-tuning, and optimization of models to ensure they meet performance and accuracy benchmarks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, product, and engineering, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Automation: Develop tools to automate repetitive tasks in data preparation, feature engineering, and model training to enhance efficiency.
- Documentation & Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and ensure proper documentation for all models, pipelines, and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
- Proficiency with SQL and experience working with large-scale data systems such as Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for model deployment and orchestration.
- Familiarity with deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or other advanced machine learning techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Version Control: Experience with version control tools such as Git for managing codebases and collaborating with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience deploying models via containers and microservices using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom dashboards.
- Industry experience in sports & entertainment is a plus
