ASML
ASML gives the world's leading chipmakers the power to mass produce patterns on silicon, helping to make computer chips smaller, faster and greener.Introduction
At ASML, Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the design and development of our products and technology roadmap. Within the Machine Conditioning cluster, we deal with thermal, fluid vacuum and contamination control for our machines. One of the subsystems we develop is that of Tin Supply & Refill (TSR). The TSR subsystem ensures that the droplets of tin keep flowing for our Extreme UV (EUV) light source.
You will join a team of about 12 people working on the performance of the TSR subsystem. The team consists of engineers, architects and a project lead and it deals with several versions of the TSR subsystem as they exist on the versions of our EUV tools, each in a different state of their life cycle.
Your assignment
The team assists in troubleshooting factory and field systems, as well as in identifying improvement packages to the functioning of the system and keeping track of the reliability of the subsystem’s parts. An important part of this work is analysis on individual systems and across the fleet.
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern within the Tin Supply & Refill (TSR) performance team to help us leverage the cloud computing and large scale analytics environments available within ASML and come up with ways to make our analysis work more structural, automated and more efficient by developing 1 or 2 prototypes. - Working alongside local experienced performance engineers, architects and project lead;
- Assisting in the recommendation and development of data analysis and automation tooling for more structured and efficient creation of future analysis of system and fleet data;
- Additional tasks tailored to match your education and experience level, as well as your learning objectives for the internship;
- Documenting and presenting your findings, as well as creating a final presentation to the group and other stakeholders about your work and achievements during the internship.
This is a bachelor or master internship lasting around 6 months, 5 days per week. The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.
