Objectives of the Position
For every delivery to overseas customers the transport needs to be planned, executed, and tracked.
We ideate, develop, and run solutions for liner shipping, parcel tanker and air shipments. Our solutions cover the full transportation management and are integrated with a multitude of other solution spaces.
Main Tasks
- In your new role you will design, develop, extend and maintain software applications and solutions for analytic purposes based on Microsoft Azure.
- Furthermore, you will write code, conduct testing, resolve issues, and collaborate with teams to ensure that the software is functional, reliable, and user-friendly by using state-of-the-art programming methods and ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines for development.
- With your expertise, you are expected to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet user or client needs.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Working Experience
- At least 7 years of experience as Analytics Engineer
Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)
- Strong experience in data processing using Python in DataBricks
- Proficient in managing and scheduling jobs in DataBricks, ensuring their successful execution and troubleshooting any issues.
- Solid understanding of data structures and computational complexity, with a focus on optimization and efficiency.
- Familiarity with data quality management and data governance practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Knowledge and applied know-how in agile working methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
- Team player with entrepreneurial thinking and a desire to drive innovation forward
- Excellent communication in English
