The role

The role reports to Director Global Enterprise Data Management and will be responsible to understand business objectives for master data domain specifically Business Partners (Vendor and Customer) and Material is a plus. This role works with various groups across Orbia B&I and all levels, to manage data governance activities & manages global/regional mid leadership stakeholders across Orbia B&I and exercising the ability to influence decisions and facilitate master data standardization as an enabler to support decision making. You will lead a small team in this role.

 

Your responsibilities

• Lead, drive & define global master data SOP & policies and it’s documentation.

• Lead & drive Global deployment of SAP MDG/S4 HANA including performing fit-gap analysis across Orbia B&I. 

• Lead & manage Global Data Governance Lead and Data Governance Analysts on identification of critical data, assessing data quality controls and capturing the results; manage at least 3 team members.

• Lead the train the trainer approach activities across Orbia B&I for Business Partners with the support of BU MDM Domain Experts.

• Identifies and manages critical data issues & mitigating the business risks.

• Define global process to control, manage data quality & monitor Master Data quality KPIs are followed up and flags any impact on business processes.

• Support the Continuous Improvement of MDM and business processes and initiating actions to improve quality, efficiency or compliance with close collaboration from BU MDM Domain Experts & MDM Operation Team Lead.

• Serves as the Global MDM point of contact of their assigned master data object eg Business Partners; Materials.

• Acts as a liaison between local/regional business, the EDM organization and IT. 

• Guide & support BU MDM Domain Experts in data preparations, collection and validation for mass creation and complex changes.

• Self start mentality and ability to work in an ambiguous environment.

• Define, collaborate and establish standardized MDM measures and processes with local, BU & central team.

• Backup support for Manager Data Governance & Domain Expert & DG Analyst.

Our requirements

• HBO, Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Data Management with 3 years+ of relevant MDM experience including implementation of MDM process improvement and root cause analysis

• Strong understanding of master data specifically on Business Partners (Customer master data and/or Vendor master data); Understanding Material master data is a plus

• Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC or S4 HANA; and SAP MDG systems is a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory); Spanish, Portuguese or other language(s) is a plus

• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP suite)and databases and reporting/analysis packages

• Proficient with Microsoft office suite (word, excel and ppt)

• Effective & strong communicator with an ability to develop a trusted liaison to, and relationships with internal/global business stakeholders. 

• Experience of managing the impacts & consequence of master data decisions on business processes, understanding business requirement and its benefits across organization

• Ability to multi-task & prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines; thrive with change and complexity

• Able to guide analysis and discussion of issues to resolve conflict with strong attention to details
