Purpose: The Data Specialist is responsible for driving the data agenda and vision through initiatives across performance analytics and data modelling. He/she will be responsible for media analytics for the client and support the analytics team to implement advanced data analytics requests.
Integration Services: 
•    Data ingestion, and mapping of data streams as proposed. 
•    Troubleshoot and maintenance of workspace and data streams.
•    SQL querying and visualization of queried data.
•    Quality Assurance of dashboards and data streams.
•    Custom dimension and metric creation and associated mathematical logic.
•    Data auditing.
•    Research on best practice, ways of working on GitHub for complex visualization problems.
•    Project management and business requirements documentation.
•    Perform adhoc data analysis tasks including audience deep dives, aggregation errors and campaign performance.
•    Wireframing, UI and UX design and implementation using CSS and HTML.
•    Google Analytics audience creation and related audience segment 
•    Implement, understand and advise on data warehousing and data pipeline architecture. Data Strategy:
•    Research on upcoming data technology, predictive analytics, and associated use cases.
•    Development of data roadmaps and associated client strategy. Data Maturity:
•    Develop best in class data practices.
•    Unlock growth by using data to influence marketing activity for client.
•    Understand and consult on audiences with relevant ad tech platforms.
•    Interpret large data sets to build and apply actionable insights to our clients.
•    Google Marketing Platform consultancy on client.
•    Analytics configuration and setup on clients.
•    Work with agnostic vendors to build out offline to online integration.
•    Work on and maintain CRM solutions for clients.
•    Build out robust 1st, 2nd & 3rd party data strategies for biddable teams.
•    Optimise conversion rates
•    Understand UX and how to drive efficiency in this space.
•    Consult on how to use data to story tell.
•    Drive attribution modelling projects.
  
The Ideal Candidate 
•    Minimum of 6 years of experience in media data. 
•    Strong analytical and numeracy abilities required. 
•    Skilled in industry related research and stats tools.
•    A good understanding of SEO and digital marketing.  
•    Strong up to date understanding of tracking and tagging, attribution modelling, behavioral marketing, database modelling, retargeting, addressability, viewability, brand safety 
•    Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented. 
•    Good understanding of media channels, both digital and traditional  
•    Problem-solver
•    Proven experience using data to generate insights and demonstrate their value to influence business decisions.
•    High attention to detail.

Experience in:

  • Facebook Paid advertising.
  • Google Marketing Stack proficiency
  • Programmatic acumen
  • Ad tech & martech experience
  • CRM implementation and analysis
  • Data modelling using R/ Python /Or similar tech
  • DMP and CDP understanding
  • Attribution modelling
  • Understanding of data compliance and data governance
