As a Business Intelligence Developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. We’re looking for a Developer like you with an appetite to learn and the skills needed to develop solutions from vision to production-ready. This role is more than just coding. You will work with technical teams to design and implement data collection tools and techniques to ensure the appropriate integrity, frequency, and confidence is achieved. You will work with technical teams to design and iterate dashboards based on customer feedback. You will perform data discovery, cleansing, validation, and data relationship management functions. You will design data visualization mock-ups and business intelligence platform-based prototypes based on customer requirements. You will ensure data visualizations reflect the appropriate context to inform decision-making.

As a Business Intelligence Developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence

• Experience with Python, T-SQL, and SQL

• Experience creating visual reports in Power BI or other business intelligence software

• Experience with data modeling philosophies, such as Kimbal and data orchestration tools, such as AirFlow or Dagster

• Experience with Machine Learning algorithms

• Ability to create solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team communicating solutions

• Ability to attend meetings and workshops to present on project work, participate in discussions

• Public Trust

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in the VA

• Experience developing ETL scripts for data automation

• Experience with virtual machine configuration and testing

• Experience with developing custom Power BI Apps

• Experience developing custom Microsoft Power Apps

• Experience with creating and testing modules and components for compliance with design specifications

• Experience with using software test tools, including Coverity, Code Sonar, or Fortify

• Experience with Git Hub and Azure Dev Ops

• Experience with C/C++ programming language

• Experience with implementing ML algorithms

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
