Leidos has an exciting opportunity for an experienced XML Developer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) organization in the fast-growing National Security Sector. This position is in Bethesda, MD. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.

Primary responsibilities and tasks may include some or all the following: 

• Develop, implement, update and manage:

  • XSD Schema, Schematron, RelaxNG data specifications for the enterprise

  • Map community directives and Executive Orders directly to implementation for Enterprise use

  • Xspec test cases for the Specifications

  • Documentation in Docbook XML and Office Suite of these Specifications

  • Develop and Maintain Scripts for Jenkins and other DevSecOps environment production of specifications

  • Compliance with Security standards and Integration of tools in a Unix based system

• Collaborate with Client and community partners to gather and interpret requirements and develop solutions that meet client’s technical, schedule and cost constraints

• Collaborate with other team members on approaches to enhancing back-end production processes.

Required Qualifications: 

• TS/SCI with Poly 

• BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills 

• Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate. 

• Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities. 

• Experience in XML stack, XSLT, XPATH, Schematron. 

Desired Qualifications: 

• Ten or more years working in the IC

• Knowledge and experience working with IC policies, directives and standards

• MS Azure cloud technology experience

• Experience with Oxygen XML and other XML IDEs

• Understanding of the JESC and CMSTT process
