Business Intelligence Developer

About the Role

We’re seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to Develop Business Intelligence datasets and reports utilizing the organization’s structured data resources, including databases, data warehouses and data marts. Partner with functional stakeholders across the business and develops reports to support their reporting needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and develop Power BI reports to provide visualization of data in a logical way following the business standards for visualization.

• Work independently to collate and analyse data using predetermined tools, methods, and formats to create standard insights.

• Identify and resolve data discrepancies in BI Reports or within the databases. Ability to resolve and maintain datasets as required and Collaborate with database owners to resolve issues if the error is within the database.

• Design and document process flows to provide automation for repetitive reporting tasks.

• Develop own capabilities by staying up to date with technology advancements and researching where relevant.

About you

• Proficient in developing Power BI datasets and reports as well as ability to understand and develop SQL Coding.

• Able to learn the systems within the organisations to understand and connect to Power BI

• Adopts innovations in business-building digital and technology applications

• Understanding of financial reporting & processes and FMCG experience is highly favoured

• Proficient communication and influencing skills to work with stakeholders across the business
