This project will entail designing and developing tool(s) to mutagenizing sequencing data from DNA control data to create in-silico data with known mutations. The tool should allow for creating data sets with SNV, MNV, copy number, and/or structural variants. In addition, a tool that downsamples to generate samples that can facilitate expedited testing of pipeline workflows. A stretch goal for the project will be the development of tools for mutagenizing RNA data.
