Your Role

As a Data Engineer at Formula5, you'll be a key player in:

• Designing and Building Data Pipelines: You'll craft robust and scalable data pipelines using modern ELT tools and best practices.
• Data Curation and Preparation: Ensure high-quality data sets are ready for consumption by both business users and analysts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts and scientists to transform data into actionable insights.
• Performance Optimization: Fine-tune data processes for efficiency and speed.
• Modern Principles: Apply data mesh principles to ensure data agility and quality.
• Staying Ahead: Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

Your Skills and Experience

• Essential:
• 1-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proven proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, especially Azure data components (or similar enterprise-grade ELT/big data solutions).
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• You need to be able to work in English language working environment.
• You need to be comfortable to work afternoon hours with us and our clients in US.
• Polish and English language comfortable in communication is a must.
• Preferred:
• Experience with big data technologies like Data Lake, Delta Lake, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Familiarity with various ETL tools.
• Expertise in data modeling and schema design.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
