Data Analyst (Contract)

Job Description:

Our Analyst at Lytx have an opportunity to and are encouraged to make significant contributions to our dynamic and growing company. This role will support with data migration from one platform to another along with various data mining and data analysis tasks.

Job tasks:

• Support data migration efforts moving existing reports from Snowflake Data platform to Redshift for reporting in Tableau.
• Provide QA analysis and performance tuning for SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Extract data from data platforms, track, analyze and report Key Performance index (KPIs) & operational status.
• Perform data cleaning and data wrangling for analysis and analytics modelling.

 Basic Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Attention to details with good communication and presentation skills.
• Coherent and clear written and verbal skills.
• Organization and time management skills.
• Keen to contribute & not shy to share their thoughts with the team.
• Strong interest with data mining and BigData
• Proficient in writing, maintaining, and editing SQL queries.
• Background in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent education.
• 2+ years experience with SQL programming languages (MYSQL, PostgressQL, Snowflake, Redshift)
• 2+ years experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Excel.
