GenAI Specialist – Software Development & Technical Documentation

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented GenAI Specialist to drive the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies within our software development and technical documentation processes. The successful candidate will identify, design, and implement GenAI solutions to streamline software workflows, enhance code generation, improve technical documentation, and enable more efficient collaboration across teams.

• AI Integration in Software Development:
  • Research and apply GenAI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to automate code generation, debugging, and code optimization.
  • Work closely with engineers and product teams to identify GenAI use cases that enhance software development efficiency.
• AI-Enhanced Technical Documentation:
  • Leverage GenAI, including Microsoft Copilot and other LLMs, to automate the generation of high-quality technical documentation for software and hardware. 
  • Ensure AI-generated documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with user needs and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with technical writers and subject matter experts to refine AI-driven content outputs.
• Innovation & Experimentation:
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in GenAI and assess their applicability to various development processes.
  • Prototype and test new GenAI models or tools to support use cases such as natural language querying, conversational interfaces, or AI-powered knowledge management.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify bottlenecks in current development and documentation processes where GenAI can provide measurable improvements.
  • Build and maintain workflows that integrate GenAI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, into existing systems and operations.
• Collaboration & Training:
  • Provide training and guidance to development and technical writing teams on utilizing GenAI tools, specifically Microsoft Copilot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define best practices for AI integration in development and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Familiarity with technical documentation processes and tools (e.g.,  Oxygen, DITA).
• Proven experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly in Generative AI models like GPT, LLMs, etc.
• Strong understanding of software development life-cycles, tools, and methodologies (such as Agile).
• Expertise with Microsoft Copilot and its application in automating software development and documentation processes.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) and experience with integrating AI/ML models into software systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) models and their application in automating content creation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset for experimentation and innovation.
