ICF seeks a motivated Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our dynamic data visualization team. In this role, you will create innovative solutions that blend data analytics, metric reporting, and design to address complex challenges. What will you be doing? 

  • Work both independently and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to design and manage dynamic data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik. 
  • Collaborate with clients to select the most appropriate indicators and visualizations, ensuring complex data is presented in compelling and understandable ways. 
  • Communicate effectively with end-users, development teams, and management, ensuring clarity at every stage of the project. 
  • Develop clear, accessible documentation for BI dashboards and deliver comprehensive training materials for end-user adoption. 
  • Conduct multi-step data analysis, transforming unstructured datasets into actionable insights. Clean, parse, and load data into various platforms to develop visualizations and reports that guide decision-making. 

What you must have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. 
  • 1 or more years experience with Tableau or Power BI, including 1 year of hands-on development and customization of BI dashboards. 
  • 1 or more years of experience with data processing and analytics tools such as Talend, Python/R, or SQL. . 
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for Public Trust Clearance. 
  • MUST reside in the U.S. and work must be performed in the United States

What we would like you to have: 

  • Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices. 
  • Familiarity with data mining, database design, and foundational machine learning concepts. 
  • Experience with statistical tools for data interpretation and report generation. 
  • Expertise in creating insightful and user-friendly dashboard reports. 
  • Knowledge of JavaScript visualization frameworks like D3 and Highcharts. 
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance. 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, paired with a proactive attitude. 
  • Ability to perform complex, ad hoc data analysis

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$47,717.00 - $81,118.00
