Senior Data Analyst (Independent Contractor/Freelancer)

As part of Keyrus’ solution delivery, we are also in a position to recruit and place technical consultants to complement on existing client projects with their expertise. As such, we seek innovative and agile people to support ambitious and forthcoming technological challenges.

The team in Wellington is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Independent Contractor/Freelance), in order to support our client activities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to address both broad and specific questions using data.
• Partner with product managers and team members to brainstorm and conduct competitor research as needed, assessing options to influence product direction.
• Investigate user behavior proactively to identify potential commercial insights.
• Analyze data to uncover business drivers, understand trends, and determine actionable steps.
• Create and present insights products to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Lead data evaluation for experiments, including A/B test design and monitoring.
• Design and develop dashboards and data requests for routine reporting and ad hoc inquiries.
• Mentor and coach team members on various approaches, tools, and insights.

What you will bring to our team:

• Around 5+ years of experience in commercial data settings, with a focus on BI and analytics involving large datasets.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one data visualization tool, such as Power BI. F
• Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
• Experience with Google data products, including Google Analytics, BigQuery, Google Tag Manager, AdWords, and Google Cloud Services, is also desirable.
• Knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation is a plus.
