Data Engineer

The team, position & mission:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the Data Solution Team. In this context, you will implement physical model of data warehouse by designing and developing  data warehouse loading modules in ELT mode.

You will contribute to the maintenance BI platform as well as develop related tools and reusable modules supporting the work of the Datawarehouse Domain team, particularly in Java and Python. You will also be responsible for designing and developing extractions, reports, and dashboards based on functional specifications.

Your key areas of responsibility as Data Engineer

• Participation in the BI platform redesign project within the Datawarehouse Domain.
• Implementation of the physical model of the data warehouse and development of loading modules in ELT mode.
• Maintenance of the current BI platform and development of related tools in Java and Python.
• Design and development of extractions, reports, and dashboards based on functional specifications.

As an ideal candidate you have:

• Programming Languages: Advanced SQL (MySQL 8, Oracle, PostgreSQL), Java 11, Python (object-oriented).
  
• BI Technologies: ETL tools (Pentaho Data Integration or equivalent), dimensional modeling (star schema, snowflake schema), Datavault, Tableau/ Tableau Server.
  
• Other Skills: Bash and PowerShell scripting, JSON, YAML, XML formats, GIT management, Jenkins.
  
• University degree or engineering school in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in projects using the mentioned technologies
