Position Purpose 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst of Operations to drive performance improvement through strategic data analysis and visualization. Responsibilities include developing KPIs for value streams, managing operational data sources, and creating data visualizations to inform and guide operational decisions. The role involves partnering closely with leadership to identify gaps, recommend solutions, and establish SOPs for effective data measurement and reporting. Ideal candidates will excel in problem-solving, have a strong analytical mindset, and possess the ability to collaborate across teams to optimize operational efficiency. 

 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities 

  • Create key performance indicators (KPIs) to help measure the health and performance of the various value streams, and cascade them downwards so they are measured and visible and a team level 
  • Create and manage various operational data sources such as demand forecasts, capacity planning tools, production schedules, run charts, etc. 
  • Partner with operational leadership to problem solve or recommend actions based on data analysis 
  • Create data visualizations through report and dashboard generation so that operational leadership can be quickly informed on measurable activities 
  • Identify data gaps which must be closed using manual processes, and partner with our IT team to integrate these solutions into our systems 
  • Partner with our project management team to help them identify where there are needs for problem solving or operational efficiency gains to meet business needs 
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) where they do not exist so that best practices for measuring and visualizing data and metrics are documented 

 

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 

  • Proven experience creating and owning dashboards with user-based and event-based data 
  • Ability to research and synthesize data insights and recommendations to stakeholders 
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple teams and projects 
  • Knowledge or experience in Salesforce tools for reports and dashboards is a plus 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Power BI) 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills 
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field 
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business analysis in a production or operational based environment
