Purpose of the Job

The HR Data Analysis and Reporting Specialist is responsible for analyzing HR-related data to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making and improve workforce management practices. This role combines in-depth data analysis with effective reporting and visualization techniques to communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.

Job Description

Data Analysis:

  • Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and correlations in HR data such as turnover rates, recruitment efficiency, employee engagement, and performance metrics.
  • Use predictive modeling to forecast HR outcomes and inform policy decisions.

 

Report Generation:

  • Develop, automate, and maintain regular reporting systems.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed by HR management or other departments.

 

Data Visualization:

  • Create and update dynamic dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate HR metrics and trends to non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure that all data presentations are accurate and easy to understand.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with HR managers and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide support through customized reports and analyses.
  • Present findings and insights in clear, actionable formats during meetings and presentations.

 

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and refine data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or advanced certification in Data Science, Analytics, or related field is preferred.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within an HR context.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing reports and dashboards.
  • Experience in HR or business analytics is highly desirable.
