We are a dynamic beverage manufacturing company committed to innovation and excellence. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you’ll be on the front lines of driving insights into all areas of the business. The ideal candidate will have advanced SQL and database knowledge, experience analyzing and presenting data, and ideally some development experience. The Data Analyst will work closely with multiple departments throughout the organization to transform data into actionable information to enhance manufacturing processes.


This is an on-site position in Salt Lake City, Utah.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and integrate data from various sources within the manufacturing environment. Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines for seamless data flow and integration.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze complex datasets in SQL to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to manufacturing processes. Provide actionable insights through statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
  • Report Generation: Create and automate reports to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical metrics to stakeholders. Design and generate custom reports based on specific business requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validations to ensure accuracy and reliability of the manufacturing data. Identify and rectify data anomalies, inconsistencies, or errors.
  • Database Management: Manage and optimize databases to support data storage, retrieval, and analysis. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes and analytical methodologies. Recommend and implement improvements to streamline data-related workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, manufacturing engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide effective solutions. Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration on data-related projects.
  • Development: This role will have the opportunity to work on ERP development projects as needed and as skills allow.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field. Or equivalent training and work experience with
  • Experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment with related data sources.
  • Proficient in data reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, SSRS, or similar.
  • Skilled in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Experienced with data analysis platforms like PowerBI, SSAS, Tableau, Qlik, or similar.
  • Strong Excel skills are required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
