Technical Backend Lead, (Hybrid, Egypt Based)

Job Overview:

Invitro Capital is seeking a strategic and experienced Technical Backend Lead to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing backend development efforts, solution design, and system architecture, guiding the team through complex technical challenges. You will play a crucial role in driving AI-based solutions and SaaS development, leveraging your expertise in Backend Technologies, AI, microservices, and cloud technologies. This position requires a strong technical background coupled with leadership capabilities. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Pacific Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor two technical squads, providing guidance on best practices, code quality, and solution design.
• Architect and develop robust backend systems using Python and frameworks like Flask, Django, and FastAPI.
• Oversee the design and implementation of AI/ML models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn, integrating them into scalable SaaS applications.
• Design and manage microservices architectures with cloud integration on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
• Conduct thorough code reviews with an emphasis on scalability, performance optimization, and adherence to coding standards.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality AI and SaaS products.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions, enhancing development workflows and deployment processes.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in data management, utilizing SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis for efficient and reliable data storage solutions.
• Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives, providing clear insights into project progress and technical decisions.

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing technical teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Advanced skills in backend development using Python and frameworks like Flask, Django, and FastAPI, essential for building scalable and secure applications.
• Expertise in designing and architecting complex technical solutions, including AI and microservices architectures, tailored to meet business needs and enhance system performance.
• In-depth experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and management.
• Advanced knowledge of AI/ML tools and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn, enabling the development of intelligent and data-driven applications.
• Skilled in managing complex data solutions with SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of data-driven applications.
• Strong code review skills with a focus on quality, scalability, and performance optimization, maintaining high standards in software development.
• Proven capability to oversee the full software development lifecycle, particularly in AI and SaaS projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Competence in using CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions, along with infrastructure management technologies like Terraform, to streamline and automate deployment processes.
