Get paint color tips, project ideas & product advice for DIY and Pros.The Associate Application Integration Developer role is responsible for supporting the architect and design of applications and will contribute to the integration of their respective in-house applications, databases, and systems with third-party applications. The incumbent will support senior team members in encouraging department/division application owners to maintain key application data and continuously help assess and communicate the application architecture to stakeholders. The incumbent will learn to implement best practices around design, development, and deployment of integration patterns utilizing cloud-native integration platforms and technologies. This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of integrations within our Digital Integration Layer Integration ecosystem. Under the guidance of experienced Application Integrations team members, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of integrations using modern integration patterns in collaboration with the Integration Architects.
- Contribute to the design of integration solutions within the Digital Integration layer for in-house and cloud business applications, databases, and systems and assist in implementation under the guidance of experienced team members
- Support analysis and troubleshooting of basic integration issues by collecting relevant data regarding the nature and status of integration problems
- Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams (i.e., Product Owner, DevOps Engineers, business leaders) to help support the identification and build of integration solutions to support business needs
- Assist with the documentation of integration flows and APIs using middleware tools to learn best practices and techniques
- Support the Application Integration team in implementation of API strategy tasks including documentation and coordination
- Participate in the configuration and maintenance of middleware infrastructure to gain practical experience of middleware technologies and configurations
- Provide basic technical support for integration-related issues, such as basic connectivity issues, and escalate more complex issues to higher-level support
- Draft the documentation of integration solutions, processes, and procedures

This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

Education
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or in lieu of a degree, at least 2 years of experience in the field of Application Integration or Information Technology
- Preferred
- Certification in Middleware
Skills and Experience
- Required
- 0-2 years of experience in application integrations and middleware development is preferred ·
- Basic knowledge of event-driven architectures and systems preferably in a cloud environment ·
- Basic technical skills in integration technologies, APIs, and web services ·
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade integrations, data mapping, and transformation ·
- Familiarity with the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level architecture (preferably, both on-prem and cloud) ·
- Basic knowledge of agile methodologies and SDLC ·
- Basic knowledge of domain driven design in a distributed service environment ·
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills ·
- Familiarity with iPaaS platforms ·

- Experience in designing and implementing data quality dashboards in Collibra using DQ as a service framework. ·
- Experience in integrating/developing/maintaining reference data in Collibra
