The People Analytics & Insights team is on a mission to empower a value-based, data-driven approach to HR and people decisions for our global workforce. We are uniquely positioned to provide unbiased insights that unlock value, drive outcomes, and enable and influence HR and business strategy.

Team Mandate:

  • Act as strategic People Analytics partners integrated into the business, anticipating and uncovering stated or unstated needs.
  • Advance team member data stewardship in alignment with corporate values.
  • Empower the voices of team members and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver reporting solutions that inform the current state of the business and facilitate scalable processes.
  • Apply analytics expertise to test, measure, analyze, and answer critical business questions.
  • Bridge the understanding across business and HR to deliver data-driven products and solutions.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive strategic outcomes.

About the Role:
As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and executing key tasks related to product security and data governance. Your role will focus on managing technical debt, reviewing and validating business rules, and overseeing automation processes to ensure efficient and secure data operations. You will collaborate closely with Data Governance Leads, product teams, and stakeholders to maintain data integrity and adhere to governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Bi-Annual Technical Debt Assessments:
    Execute bi-annual reviews of technical debt across products manually or utilizing the usage dashboard. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify areas requiring attention and track the resolution of outstanding debt.
  • Review Business Rules:
    Work alongside the Data Governance Lead to review and update business rules governing data usage and management. Ensure alignment with governance policies and business requirements.
  • Data Spectrum Rule Validation:
    Run governance rules within the Data Spectrum platform to validate data integrity and compliance. Perform necessary validation checks to confirm that data governance policies are enforced effectively.
  • Automation Onboarding and Maintenance:
    Onboard new automation tasks to streamline data governance processes. Maintain existing automation workflows and ensure they continue to meet operational and security standards. Troubleshoot and update automation as necessary.
  • Support Product Security Practices:
    Ensure all product security-related tasks align with data governance best practices. Implement security measures within the scope of data management and automation tasks, ensuring data remains secure and protected from unauthorized access.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data operations roles.
  • Experience in data quality tools like Collibra, etc.
  • Strong project management to assess and resolve technical debt issues.
  • Familiarity with Python automation for managing data operations tasks
  • Strong understanding of data security best practices, especially as it relates to product security and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in data validation and rule enforcement.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical leads, product teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
