Our AMS Automation team are currently seeking candidates for the following position, based within our Cluj-Napoca office:

AI Engineer

What can you expect?

• Our Application Management Services (AMS) team is an end-to-end application support and maintenance shared service.
• AMS delivers integrated, end-to-end services across four main areas: Application Maintenance, Application Support, Application Operations and IT Control.
• In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and support teams to understand their objectives and develop AI models that drive their success.
• You will work with advanced deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Keras, as well as complex models like neural networks and BERT.

We will count on you to:

• Write scalable code using Python programming language.
• Be proficient with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas.
• Test and debug applications.
• Have expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid).
• Coordinate with teams to determine application requirements.
• Process, cleanse and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
• Understand business objectives and develop models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress.
• Analyse the Machine Learning algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability
• Convert AI/ML models into APIs that other developers can use
• Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results.
• Train and retrain systems when necessary.
• Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks.
• Design machine-learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to automate predictive models.
• Document machine learning processes.

What you need to have:

• Good level of experience in a corporate IT environment with experience in Artificial Intelligence , Machine Learning and Python.
• Proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or Keras.
• Proficiency in applying neural net and BERT models.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and design capabilities.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Fast learner, quality conscious and committed to deadlines.
• Experience working in offshore-onsite delivery teams.
• Excellent analytical and effective communication skills.
