Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Senior Business Intelligence Specialist, and the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in migrating and transforming data, performing complex data transformations and ensuring seamless integration.

Below will be your job responsibilities, as in the position of a Senior Data Engineer/ Senior BI Specialist,

• Utilize Azure Data Factory (ADF) to migrate data from Genesys Cloud APIs to Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Write efficient Python scripts to automate data processing and integrate solutions with existing data infrastructure to workflows.
• Develop and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines ensuring efficient and reliable data flow.
• Perform data transformations using Databricks to prepare data for storage in SQL databases.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
• Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases, writing complex queries for business intelligence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Implement optimizations to improve data processing times and report generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field with minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a similar role within complex environments
• Proficient in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation.
• Proven track record of working with data warehousing solutions, BI tools.
• Extensive experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database)
• Experience in using Databricks for data transformation, processing and SQL for database design, query optimization, and data extraction.
• Experience in creating interactive BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Knowledge of integrating and extracting data from APIs, specifically Genesys Cloud APIs is a plus.
• Ability to work on site.
