As a Credit Risk Senior Data Analyst in our Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to create data to be considered for use in mortgage credit risk models

What will your day look like?

 

This role would suit a talented and motivated Credit Risk Data Analyst who would like to join a cross-functional team dedicated to providing high quality data for use in a credit risk models.

 

•    Identifying potential new sources of data 
•    Interrogating the data to determine which is predictive of credit default
•    Assessing data quality and cleaning data
•    Creating “model-ready” data
•    Testing code
•    Completing draft documentation of the business logic

What will you bring?


 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

•    Strong problem solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
•    Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, BigQuery, Python, R, SAS ).
•    Ability to identify and analyse information quickly and efficiently; leverage innovative and creative solutions to solve problems related to data and models.
•    Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines
•    Ensuring deliverables meet stakeholders’ expectation and with the ability to work in a cross functional environment.
•    Sound understanding of the risk environment, processes and systems 
•    Quantitative degree in statistics, actuarial, econometrics, mathematics, physics, engineering or related field.
•    Exposure to credit risk models would be an advantage.
