Summary

GainwellRx is our solution and business platform to support states and Medicaid members across the country for prescription drug related business processes and member experiences. The Director/Sr. Director, Pharmacy Strategy—Data Analytics & Insights, will serve a key role within the pharmacy business and will interface with all leaders of the executive leadership team and with state pharmacy leaders. The role directly supports pharmacy and healthcare data strategies for the organization and drives client insights, proof points, and analytics spanning clinical insights to financial insights.

 

Your role in our mission

  • Partners with Pharmacy executive team to drive business strategy and business development through insights and analysis.
  • Analyzes pharmacy data and aligns with product and market teams on solution proof points and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with State Sector General Managers and Account General Managers for state needs related to pharmacy insights.
  • Partners with AGMs and state clients for development of key insights across clinical, rebate, and drug trends.
  • Aligns with Gainwell Data & Analytics organization for data warehouse, systems, and broader data solution strategies.
  • Drives client pharmacy reporting and analytics strategy in partnership with Gainwell Data & Analytics organization.
  • Supports account teams in QBR analysis and presentations.
  • Supports product and data teams in development of data driven solutions.
  • Drives analysis in support of business development projects and senior leadership key initiatives.
  • Aligns with product teams for reporting solutions.
  • Helps drive pharmacy AI strategies and predictive analytics.
  • Supports analysis for Pharmacy segment P&L management.
  • Delivers analysis and support for business cases for new investments.
  • Supports the development of strategy materials and presentations.
  • Serves as an industry expert on GainwellRx, interfacing with external clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Collaborates across account teams, sales teams, product teams, and other shared service functions.
  • Oversees key initiatives and drives insight development.
  • Serves as a key leader in the pharmacy business interfacing with state pharmacy teams and representatives.
  • Drives new ideas, partners with states on new concepts, and works with teams to deliver models to support them.
  • Partners with marketing on external message and client team materials.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Pharmacy or advanced degree and/or significant relevant experience
  • 10+ years of pharmacy related experience
  • Key skillsets tied to pharmacy analysis, data, reporting, and financial analysis
  • Advanced pharmacy data analytic skills (Excel, pivot tables, SQL, analytic tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Business Objects)
  • Experience interacting with clients in the healthcare industry
  • Track record of cross-functional team collaboration and projects spanning people, process, and technology
  • Excellent communications skills, with ability to communicate externally and with senior executives.
  • Innovative forward thinker with excellent leadership skills

 

What you should expect in this role

  • This position is 100% remote, with approximately 20% travel to support key client meetings.
