What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include 

• Extracting, refining, and preparing large datasets for analysis using SQL and advanced data tools and techniques
• Driving visibility and process improvement through building visualisations and dashboards that translate raw data into practical insight, metrics and recommendations using creative practices and user-friendly solutions such as PowerBI
• Autonomously working with partners on collating, delivering and actioning business requirements in the project space and data analytics space
• Working independently on analytics and reporting tasks and projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring robustness and sustainability of the data solution
• Proactively identifying data and process improvement opportunities, evaluating various initiatives through data-driven approaches, and supporting long-term strategies 

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include 

• Hands on experience with sophisticated Big Data sets, proficient in SQL reporting and visualisation building 
• Experience using Advanced visualisation tools such as PowerBI or other software
• Previous exposure to datasets within the retail or supply chain sector and experience in fundamentals of statistics and business measures 
• Clear and concise communication style, the ability to simplify and explain complicated concepts and story-tell with data and crafting high-quality presentations that effectively articulate sophisticated concepts to non-technical partners
