We are looking for a (Junior) Data Scientist to join our Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics team. This is a permanent position, and it is located in Helsinki, Finland. 

 

Responsibilities as a (Junior) Data Scientist: 

 

  • Developing machine learning models and solutions from exploration to production
  • Conceptualising and specifying solution requirements together with business stakeholders 
  • Exploring and developing new technologies and tools for Machine Learning and AI (both open source and commercial)        

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Knowledge of applied analytics and machine learning methods
  • Experience in working with advanced Natural Language Processing methods such as LayoutLM models
  • Experience working with Large Language Models such as OpenAI’s GPT models and LangChain framework
  • Experience in data labelling and fine-tuning existing models for solving domain-specific problems
  • Experience working with computer vision, object recognition and OCR using advanced methods such as Convolutional Neural Networks
  • Experience with Python AI libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, PyTesseract
  • Experience using git and implementing CI/CD pipelines and developing APIs with the FastAPI framework 
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and Databricks
  • Customer orientation
  • Fluent in marketing and selling ideas and solutions to stakeholders 
  • Very good in documentation and presentation skills 
  • Good collaboration and change management skills 
  • Proactive, development-minded, independent, and goal-focused attitude to work 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English 
  • Master’s degree and relevant studies in AI and Data Science
