At ING, data is at the core of our digital strategy. As part of the Enterprise Tribe, you will play a critical role in shaping our Enterprise Data roadmap. You will lead the delivery of transformative data solutions that drive strategic decision-making and meet regulatory requirements. 
 
We are seeking a leader who not only excels in the Finance and Risk domains but is also deeply passionate about data and its potential to drive change. As a Lead Data Product Owner, you will take charge of data delivery across Finance and Risk domains while ensuring compliance with the Non-Financial Risk framework.

What you’ll do 

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of data products in Finance and Risk, driving high-quality, strategic data solutions. 

  • Be the subject matter expert on data delivery, collaborating across teams to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize decision-making. 

  • Shape the roadmap for Finance and Risk data products, ensuring alignment with ING’s digital transformation goals. 

  • Partner with product teams for ongoing backlog grooming aligned to solving customer pain points and market needs.  

  • Responsible for the full life-cycle of data initiatives from inception through to development, and support, for work produced by your delivery squad. 

    What we’re looking for 

    • Enterprise data leader and deep expertise in Finance and Risk domains. 

    • A strong passion for data and its role in business transformation. 

    • Proven leadership in delivering complex data solutions in compliance with regulatory frameworks. 

    • 10 + years banking experience in data discipline within an enterprise function. 

    • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in data delivery or data product owner or management role.  

    • Recent experience in financial services as a delivery manager within Regulatory delivery working closely with Enterprise functions.  

    • Experience in implementing data operating model and leading enterprise change. 

    • Applied experience of data architecture, Data (ETL) processes, data modelling, data analytics and/or visualisation
