This role is a part of an organization called Enterprise Data Governance and Shared Platforms, which is a vibrant & highly motivated group that collaborates across different data domains working together towards building governance processes and tools that make our data better while also supporting the business in managing the master data across Finance, HR, Marketing, Vendor, Customer, Supply Chain Domains, and Net Sales Revenue.

Today, we’re looking for a Manager, Global Supply Chain Master Data Operations. You will be an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Master Data Operations and will be hired on a maternity cover contract.

Position Summary:


The Manager, Global Supply Chain Master Data Operations maintains and supports Global Master Data processes as related to the Supply Chain, specific to transportation management (Rates, Lanes, and Freight Settlement).

This role is integral to the company's data management process and responsible for determining how to meet new and changing business needs for the company’s digital journey through master data.

The Global Master Data Operations role intent is to act as a trusted adviser to CPS (Concentrate Plants) regarding Supply Chain Master Data and drive cross-functional alignment to deliver company Data objectives; to support master data initiatives for global deployment projects; adherence to Enterprise Data Governance through data management policies, procedures, stewardship awareness; and implement global improvements supporting master data and quality.

It will align with the applicable supply chain transformation initiatives and cross-functional teams in order to ensure accurate and appropriate master data creation and maintenance. 

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Manage the life cycle of assigned supply chain master data
  • Transportation Management System (TMS) knowledge and use
  • TMS System Maintenance: Responsible for all aspects of updating TMS related to management of over 3K transportation lane, rate, and capacity limits
  • Annual & Monthly Mini Bid Implementation:  responsible for implementing all bids and fuel charge fluctuations into TMS
  • Freight Settlement issue resolution related to master data; works with CPS and Global Logistics Services to research and reconcile carrier billing issues
  • Multi-modal transportation knowledge; Ocean, rail, and over-the-road truckload
  • Manage SAP security requests for SAP P07, SAP MDM and conduct periodic reviews.
  • Liaise with TCCC, GLS and CPS to resolve system issues and be the primary point of contact for TMS functional and system issues
  • Suggest key process and performance improvement opportunities within TMS identified during the course of support

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education
  • 2-3+ years’ experience of Global Supply Chain experience; preferably intermodal transportation
  • 2-3+ years of experience with relevant data methodologies, data models, and tools, to inform critical strategic decisions and ensure requirements are met in data domains
  • Supply chain data including but not limited to: material, transportation data domains; including rates, lanes and freight settlement.
  • Ability to access, analyze and use information in a manner that adds value to the organization 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across business stakeholders, data teams and carriers.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English required
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to problem solve and develop actionable solution
  • Ability to work virtually with teams across cultures and time zones 
  • Strong process management skills & Experience with Agile methodology
