Data Scientist

WellSky is seeking a full-time Data Scientist to join our Connected Networks Operations team. Data Scientists at WellSky use an analytics skillset with a client facing lens to bring actionable insight to WellSky solutions and collaborate with our Sales and Finance teams to improve reporting.

A day in the life! 

You will be responsible for the following:

• Collect, interpret, and evaluate operational and financial data analytics to provide insights to all internal teams and executive leadership, with the goal of enabling leadership to make data-driven decisions and accurately allocate resources
• Help to organize financial modeling and statistical studies to test new solution ideas and convert the results into actionable recommendations
• Review processes and monitor plan effectiveness to optimize and scale the evolving business and long-range plans
• Work with Sales and Finance departments to develop sales forecasts revenue reporting and retention management
• Determine the tracking and tools necessary to enable analytics of solutions and features by identifying reporting needs and developing reporting suite, roadmap, and program
• Collaborate with business leaders, strategic planning, finance, sales, client-facing teams, and other stakeholders across the company to review existing and future operational needs and to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial goals

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2-4 years of experience delivering data science outcomes and use of analytical, mathematical and technical skills
• Working knowledge of Sisense and/or SalesForce analytics
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship building skills
• Ability to network and collaborate across multiple teams with flexible, positive attitude and ability to get results

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous healthcare industry experience
• 4-6 years of coding experience
