The role

The Strategic Advisory Services team within Property & Development NSW (PDNSW) are seeking a Property Analyst – Data Analytics and Insights.

The Property Analyst – Data Analytics and Insights will be responsible for extracting and manipulating data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in report development. You will conduct research and analysis on property sector trends, providing valuable input into government policy and property strategies. Additionally, you will play a key role in enhancing the availability, quality, reliability, and security of property data, as well as supporting cyber security initiatives to safeguard data assets. You will also assist in managing key systems such as the Government Property Register and Government Property Exchange, while preparing a variety of project-related documents.

What you will bring to the role

  • Data-driven Decision Support: Expertise in extracting, validating, and analysing property data to develop insights that support informed decision-making and contribute to the creation of government property strategies.
  • Strategic Property Advisory: Experience in providing input into property sector trends, market research, and contributing to whole-of-government property policies that align with strategic priorities.
  • Visualisation & Data Integrity: Ability to recommend and implement effective data visualization techniques for various stakeholders, while ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and security in systems like the Government Property Register

 

What is an essential requirement:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience with a strong focus on data management or quantitative analysis in an applied field related to planning, property or similar.
  • Tertiary qualification in a property related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in using geospatial tools in a land and property context to support project delivery.
