Job Summary

We are looking for candidates who has interest in growing career in digital technologies with a strong inclination to drive digital transformation in the organisation.  You will be responsible for technically conceptualising, developing and implementing digital solutions for our aerospace processes. In this role you will collaborate closely with IT and other data scientists to efficiently extract, structure, and utilize data from across the business. You will play a key role in enabling the use of data in our daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

     Develop, execute, implement and check methods, plans, toolsets and approaches that are appropriate and compliant to achieve digital solutions for the process intended 
     Identify technical problems and apply/integrate solutions as needed with a set based design approach
     Analyse customer requirements and define technical solutions as input for proposals to develop proof of concepts
     Work with cross functional teams and multiple sites during the development process
     Generate assigned project deliverables, documents, and reports according to the project milestones
     Support and participate in technical reviews, including the creation and preparation of technical data and presentations as needed and support other engineers with peer to peer reviews
     Support Lean culture and improvement initiatives in the organisation
     Take part in regular sprint planning meetings to plan, review and deliver outputs based on agile philosophy 
     Support in creation of training material and knowledge sharing in the  relevant area of work
     Perform all activities at a level of very minimal supervision and more independently  and help other engineers within the program as required
 

Job Qualifications

General:
     Possess basic knowledge of aerospace engineering and manufacturing processes with considerable exposure in project execution.
     Must possess good knowledge and understanding  of software development cycle
     Must possess strong knowledge and understanding of data engineering, data analytics, ML, software development and digitalisation domains to support application development initiatives.
     Must possess a high level of initiative, technical problem solving skills and innovative mind set to conceptualize ideas and develop them to feasible solutions under pressure with an interest to work in developing technologies
Essential:
     Bachelors in Engineering degree or higher, preferably mechanical, automobile, aerospace, computer science etc., with 2+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, data analytics, ML , software development or related fields.
     Working knowledge of data structure, data modelling and database architecture for efficient data storage, management and retrieval.
     Proficiency in SQL & Python for real-time database management and database population.
     Working knowledge in data cleaning, data transformation, data quality, data exploration and data pipeline.
     Examine datasets to derive conclusions and insights using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
     Create and train machine learning/ deep learning models, including algorithm selection, feature engineering, and model tuning.
     Design and implement application programming interfaces for software applications communication.
     Knowledge of implementing business process into functional codes
     Proficient in Python programming, familiar with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Django, Yolo, OpenCV etc.
     Proficiency in programming languages like python (backend), html, java script, css (frontend) and working knowledge in GIT
     The ability to act as a functional/ technical/ integration representative in communications with multiple stakeholders
     Ability to understand requirements and translate them to describe and present technical information within cross functional teams
     Ability to understand the software development process, requirements and drive them to  technical solutions with a good knowledge of software standards and specifications
     Able to communicate complex ideas well in both writing and orally in clear manner.
     Demonstrated commitment to learning about digital technologies and self-improvement through your own curiosity and  initiatives through courses, books, or side projects
