Supplier Data Analyst

1. Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr Manager – Engineering Operations and is responsible for managing Meercat SMS, training new and existing users and providing support for other initiatives like supplier diversity administration, pattern management, supplier scorecards etc.

1. Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Support in the administration of Meercat (user management, manage KPIs/other data)
• Support for the Meercat end-users (training and answering questions, etc.)
• Analysis of business requirements together with representatives of Celeros, creation of specifications based on the requirements, final confirmation of the deliverables
• Release planning, and review material groups and category codes uploads into SAP
• Control of further developments and optimizations by the tool provider, incl. testing and UAT-Support
• Support other sourcing initiatives such as supplier portal, supplier diversity administration, and supplier scorecards
• Support pattern management and back-up for pattern manager (maintains pattern register for movement and traceability)  
• Coordinate weekly updates to global sourcing reports

1. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Data maintenance experience
• Expert-level familiarity with Meercat, ERP systems, SAP.
• MS office proficiency
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOM.
• A team player approach.
• Excellent communication skills.

1. Education and Experience

• B.E mechanical/industrial/production engineering in full time regular course from recognised university and institute in India

3-6 years of experience in a similar role preferably Valves or Pumps industry.
