Specialist BI M-pesa S&D

O que irá fazer

Role purpose: 
To deliver business intelligence and assurance activities from M-Pesa data sets with remarkable high standards that will constantly support M-Pesa business excellence and growth.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 
•    Analyse complex datasets to provide business insights, trends and performance metrics.
•    Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations using BI tools such as power BI and Tableau.
•    Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and data sources.
•    Collaborate with all the relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of data pipelines, ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and data warehousing.
•    Work closely with sales team (agents and merchants) to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirement for BI solutions.
•    Present findings and insights to the stakeholders in a clear and  concise manner, using data visualizations and reports.
•    Provide recommendations to management based on data-driven analysis.
    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
•    Microsoft Suit (Access, Excel, PPT, Visual Basic, Projects, Visio).
•    Fluent in English and Portuguese.
•    Strong analytical skills into business context are required.
•    SQL, Python or R for data analysis 
•    Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBi, Qliksense, Tableau).
•    Experience with GSM voice, data and mobile money technologies as well as operations, products and services is desirable;
•    Strong attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.

    Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    Degree In Computer science
•    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in BI, data analysis or data science role.
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Data ETL.
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Management Reporting.
•    Certification in Data Analysis/BI is desirable.

    Key performance indicators :
•    Define track KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and operations.
•    Regularly review and update metrics as needed to reflect changing business conditions.
•    Recommend and implement solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs or enhance Super agents and agents experience.
